FODMAP Friendly Pty Ltd ("FODMAP Friendly", "we", "our", or "us") operates the FODMAP Friendly mobile application ("App"). This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, retain and protect your information when you use our App.

By downloading or using the App, you acknowledge that your information will be handled in accordance with this Privacy Policy.

How We Use Your Information

Third-Party Services

The App may use Google Play Services, Apple App Store, Google Firebase Analytics, Firebase Crashlytics, Firebase Cloud Messaging, RevenueCat (if applicable), and other trusted service providers. These providers receive only the information necessary to perform their services.

Data Sharing

We only share personal information where necessary to provide the App, process subscriptions, operate analytics and diagnostics, comply with legal obligations, or protect our users and business. We do not share personal information for third-party advertising.

Data Retention

Account information is retained while your account is active. Support enquiries may be retained for up to seven (7) years. Analytics and diagnostics are retained only as necessary. Certain records may be retained longer where required by law.

Data Deletion Process

You may request deletion of your account and associated personal information at any time.

In-App Account Deletion

You can permanently delete your account directly within the App by following these steps:

  1. Open the FODMAP Friendly App.
  2. Log in to your account.
  3. Navigate to the Profile page.
  4. Select Delete Account.
  5. Confirm your deletion request.

Once your deletion request has been confirmed, your account will be permanently deleted and your active app session will end. We will also delete or anonymise your associated personal information, except where we are required or permitted by law to retain certain information for legal, accounting, fraud prevention, security, or regulatory purposes.

Security

We implement reasonable administrative, technical and organisational safeguards. Information transmitted between your device and our services is protected using HTTPS/TLS where appropriate. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure.

The App is not intended for children under 13 (or the minimum age under applicable law).

The App itself does not use browser cookies. Third-party SDKs may use similar technologies for functionality, analytics and diagnostics.
